I was very surprised by the quality of this breast collar/martingale. Because of the price, I was expecting something lower quality, but the leather is pretty nice and everything is supple and smooth. The stitching seems strong and secure and it's all sewn straight. There are no rough spots on the underside of the leather, and all of the hardware is bright and strong. The buckles are easy to adjust, unlike some cheaper tack. The running attachment only has one hole, so it's not very adjustable, but you may be able to punch a few extra holes into the strap. However, for the price, it is a worthy investment if you don't have the money to spend upwards of a $100 on a breast plate. This piece of equipment is worthy of the show ring. :) My only concern is that the color is much darker than the picture makes it look (it's a dark Havana brown). My saddle is a deep reddish brown, so the picture made it look like it would match my saddle better. However, it still looks just fine with the rest of my tack.
